Who we are

This website is operated by The DEX Authority LLC ("The DEX Authority", "we", "us"), registered at 30 S 15th St, Ste 1550 PMB 485713, Philadelphia, PA 19102-4806. Questions about this policy can be sent to tim@thedexauthority.com.

What we collect

We collect only what the site actually needs to work:

• Contact form. When you submit the contact form we store the details you provide: name, email address, and optionally company, role, area of interest, and your message. To protect the form from abuse we also record the submitting IP address and browser user-agent string alongside the submission.
• Site analytics. We use a first-party page-view counter. It stores two random identifiers in your browser (dex_vid in local storage and dex_sid in session storage) to count unique visitors and sessions. These identifiers are randomly generated in your browser, contain no personal information, and are never joined with your identity. The analytics endpoint does not store IP addresses.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard server logs for security and operations.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry. That is the only use of contact-form data.
• To understand aggregate site traffic (page views, referrers, countries).
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or share data with data brokers.

Who processes it

• Vercel: website hosting and content delivery.
• Neon: database hosting for CMS content and contact submissions.
• Resend: delivers the email notification when you submit the contact form.

Retention

Contact submissions are kept for 24 months or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics identifiers persist in your own browser until you clear site data.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing tim@thedexauthority.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. This policy is governed by the laws of Pennsylvania.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here.
